On May 7, 2007, Renfe (operator of Spain’s High Speed Rail lines and services) has increased the maximum speed on the Madrid - Camp de Tarragona (-Barcelona) line to 300km/h. Th talgois new maximum speed only applies to the Talgo trainsets however.
