When it arrived in Tacoma we were given the famous speach that trains can make up time. Well, according to several employees, once late, the train only continues to be later & later. My biggiest beef is that we should have been told that getting on that late train could delay our trip drastically. At that point, there were options. Unfortunately I found myself on a train that was 9 hours late getting to Klamuth Falls and was being told it would take another 12 hours to get to Sacramento. So you are on a train with no way to make other arrangements - I felt like a prisoner - it was awful! They need to park these trains and forget it. We were delayed there waiting for the cororner as a man had died. I spent an enormous amount of money taking alternate transportation and extra days in hotels due to this disaster. I'm hoping for reimbursement but from researching the internet today, I am not too hopefull I got on this train in Tacoma and finally got off in Klamuth Falls.
